THERE IS STILL WORK TO BE DONE.
At a meeting of the Granby Estate Tenants Association on 20th April, there was a series of complaints that work either has not been finished properly, and that it has been done to an unacceptable standard.
The Keepmoat office in Bentworth Court has now been closed down, and it would appear that the work done has been approved by Tower Hamlets Homes. If this is the case, how can the inspectors have missed the gaping failures in service standards left by Keepmoat and their sub-contractors?
Apart from the service failures listed on this site, there are still problems with the main entrances and inside several flats.
Although snagging was carried out, to some degree, the points brought up during the snagging process clearly have been ignored. This also applies to both Keepmoat and Breyer who did the kitchens.
I would like to see the person responsible for the sign-over which agreed that all of the work has been done to an acceptable standard attend the next tenants association meeting, to see just what residents think of their ‘acceptable standards’.
